The N97 is Nokia’s flagship mobile phone and is widely regarded as one of the Finnish company’s greatest-ever handset as well as the best-looking phone to appear in the highly rated Nseries of mobiles. Since its launch in early 2009, it has achieved a renown far outside the mobile phone world thanks to cameo appearances everywhere from Black Eyed Peas videos to the promo for Royksopp’s The Girl and the Robot. Meanwhile, reviews for the N97 were universally excellent, with testers particularly praising the handset’s speed of use, build quality and the raft of functions that have been packed into its compact shell.
